Rikke is a Melbourne-based birth and postpartum doula supporting families across the inner suburbs and beyond. Originally from Denmark and now proudly at home in Hawthorn, Rikke came to this work through her own two very different birth experiences — one that left her searching for answers, and one that showed her exactly what's possible when a woman feels truly supported. That contrast drives everything she does. Certified as a Body Ready Method® Pro and trained under renowned birth educator Rhea Dempsey, Rikke brings both evidence-based knowledge and deep emotional attunement to every family she works with. She has supported families through home births, public hospital births and private obstetric care, always with the same quiet, grounded presence. Her greatest passion is supporting women who want to feel genuinely prepared, deeply supported, and confident in their bodies — whether they're stepping into birth for the first time or returning with a new story to write.
