ABOUT DOULA NETWORK AUSTRALIA
Doula Network Australia exists to support, connect, and promote birth and postpartum doulas across Australia.
We believe families deserve access to informed, compassionate, and continuous support throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. We also believe doulas play an important role in helping families feel heard, informed, supported, and respected throughout that journey.
Our national directory was created to make it easier for families to find and connect with doulas across Australia based on their location, support needs, values, and preferences. Whether families are looking for birth support, postpartum care, birth education, VBAC support, neurodivergent-informed care, pregnancy loss support, or additional modalities and services, the directory helps connect them with doulas and support professionals who align with their needs.
The directory also exists to help support doulas professionally by increasing visibility, strengthening community connection, and creating greater awareness of the role doulas play within pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.
Alongside the directory, Doula Network Australia provides opportunities for professional connection, networking, education, collaboration, and ongoing support for doulas across Australia. We welcome both experienced and student doulas from a wide range of backgrounds, training pathways, and models of care.
Our vision is to continue building a strong, supportive, and inclusive national community that helps both doulas and families feel more connected and supported.
