Hi, I’m Bridget—a trauma-informed doula, Reconnected Birthing Practitioner, and mother to two, passionate about supporting women through the deeply transformative journey of birth and beyond.

Motherhood has been the most profound and life-altering experience of my life, giving me a deep sense of purpose and a calling to support others as they navigate the incredible transformation into parenthood. My own experiences have shaped the work I do. A miscarriage early in my journey taught me resilience and the transformative nature of loss and healing. My daughter’s birth, an urgent emergency caesarean due to significant blood loss in utero, followed by multiple life-saving blood transfusions and three long weeks in the NICU, was both earth-shattering and a testament to the incredible strength of a mother’s intuition and how deeply we are in tune with our babies. And my son’s birth, my first labour, taught me the importance of surrender and the inner work required to navigate the unknown. Being a VBAC mum, I also know firsthand the strength, determination, and resilience it takes to navigate the path to a vaginal birth after caesarean. Each of these moments has deepened my empathy and understanding for the parents I work with. I believe that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are as much about inner work as they are about physical preparation. Deep within, I know that women already carry the wisdom of how to birth, it’s not something that needs to be taught. My role isn’t to tell you how to do it, but to help you connect to that innate knowing, to trust yourself and your body, and to surround you with the kind of support that makes you feel seen, safe, and deeply held. When I’m not walking alongside families, you’ll find me soaking up the beautiful chaos of life with my husband, our two children, and our two dogs in Cairns, far North Queensland. Motherhood continues to teach me every day. It humbles me, inspires me, and fills me with the love and care I bring to my work. It’s my honour to be by your side, to hold space when it feels heavy, to listen when words need to be spoken, and to celebrate when you discover just how incredible your strength truly is.
