“We feel very fortunate that Cathe was recommend to us and want to do the same for others. We had twin boys just before Christmas 2021 and needed help. Cathe was very responsive and worked with us to set up a schedule that worked for us, and for her. She worked for us overnight, which was so important, so we could get a break and get some sleep! Cathe was so reliable, she showed up on time, never cancelled and always seemed to have unlimited energy, even overnight. She was warm, gentle and very aware of the needs of the newborn twins, all while trying to keep the house quiet so we could sleep. Another point to mention was that Cathe cared about the twins and about us. She liked the work, got to know us well, and tried to help with anything we needed and questions we had. She helped get us in to see a paediatrician, she sent us articles on sleep patterns for twins and she showed us ways to get the infants to burp, sleep, relieve gas, etc in ways that we hadn’t seen before. Cathe was the mum I never had. She cooked, laundered, tidied, encouraged and soothed. Such a help during my first few weeks postpartum. I didn’t have any family to help so it was wonderful for her to fill that void. Her home cooked meals nourished my whole family. I was able to recover and focus on baby while she took care of the rest. It was the perfect start to my motherhood journey.
