Hi, I’m Louisa and I am a qualified Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum Doula, comprehensively trained and certified through the Australian Doula College. I am also a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. Servicing Ballarat and surrounding areas (happy to travel further).

For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated about the miracle of birth, and I am passionate about empowering women and their partners through their birth experiences; supporting and helping you to communicate your decisions to enable you to have a birth that is truly yours.

I am dedicated to ensuring that women and their partners feel positively supported, encouraged, and reassured throughout their pregnancy, labour, birth, and postpartum.

I have a calm, patient, kind, and caring nature, and also have a happy, compassionate, and friendly personality. I am very approachable and supportive.

My offerings include providing information, resources, and continuous, unbiased and non-judgmental physical, emotional, and informational support to expectant mothers (and their partners) before birth, during labour and birth, and/or postpartum.

As well as my ‘Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum Support Package’, I also offer different ‘Postpartum Support Package’ options’, as well as additional hours of support and ‘By the Hour’ postpartum support, if required or you do not wish to commit to a package.

I also offer different ‘Placenta Specialties’ options; including Raw and TCM placenta encapsulation, placenta prints, and umbilical cord keepsakes.
