Hello, I’m Crystal and I’m a Birth and Postpartum Doula and I work across areas of the North, North-West, Midlands, and East Cost of Tasmania.
I am a mother who has been through childbirth and the postpartum period without a doula, and I know the importance of having that support. .
The birth statistics in Australia at present are horrendous, and something needs to change. It is my mission that all women feel nurtured, secure, safe, support, and confident in birthing their baby, and as they navigate their new role as mother.
As women and mothers we are socialised to put our needs last, and postpartum women in the western world are some of the most malnourished in the world! The need for postpartum nourishment and support is often overlooked. Together we can ensure you thrive and not just survive.
As your doula I will listen to you, be in your corner, hold space for you, be honest with you, and advocate for you.
I am here to support, nourish and work with you so that you feel secure, confident, powerful and like the goddess that you are, as you bring your baby earth side, and are born again as a parent. I believe that with education and empowerment childbirth can be a positive, healing, and life changing experience.
