Hello, Doula work stirs a passion in me, when women are willing to embrace the unknown of birth and to step through the passage of becoming a mother, to witness the beauty of this event is a privilege and an honor.

I believe that birth is amazing, transforming and unique to each woman. We have been lead to believe that birth is to be feared, dangerous, scary and so painful. Lets re-frame our understanding of Birth.
My own birth experiences have caused me to see birth so individually, I have learnt to respect, listen, and support without judgement.
As your Doula, It is my intention to lovingly support you to feel safe, supported and confident in your ability to make decisions and to birth your baby the best way possible for you.
I also believe that women are too easily made to feel anxious, fearful and without a voice when it comes to birth and birth choices.
This motivated me to become a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. Providing Childbirth Education to expecting couples. Education lays a solid foundation for informed decisions, and in Pregnancy, Labor, Birth and Parenting there will be many decisions that you will need to make.
Birth can take shape in many different forms, how you are treated and how you are made to feel can impact you as a mother, how you feel about yourself and your baby.
Being well prepared to meet your baby and supported during the first 3 – 4 months with a newborn, is what is I am passionate about.
