Beyond Birth Tasmania

My name is Losharn Hales and I am a certified Postpartum Doula In Launceston Tasmania.
My primary role is to support emerging and new mothers transition with ease into motherhood. I help with 1:1 support including: postpartum planning sessions, physical and emotion support such as mothering the mother, herbal support, debriefing, yoni steaming, babywearing whilst mum naps, cooking nourishing postpartum meals, light household duties, entertaining siblings, breastfeeding and settling tips and helping parents understand babies cues. I also offer placenta encapsulation/prints and herbal salves, teas and tinctures for pregnancy and postpartum.

I completed training through Newborn Mothers Collective, APPA international (Association of Placenta Preparation and Arts), Blood Borne Pathogen safety training, Kate Harrison – herbal medicine for birth and postpartum; and am currently undertaking more training to facilitate Closing Ceremonies and Mother Circles in Northern Tasmania.
