Alex - From Bellies to Babes Doula

I’m Alex, a birth and postpartum doula based in Melbourne’s North. I’m a mother to two, a massive birth nerd, feminist and I’m passionate about encouraging women to discover their own power in birth and beyond. I came to this work after having my own children, whose births and postpartum periods showed me the diverse range of experiences women can have. This contrast highlighted to me the importance of support throughout the entire rite of passage that is becoming a mother. It ignited a passion in me to serve birthing families; to support, to listen, to respect, to inform, to hold and to nurture them.

I work with families wherever they are at, be it during or before pregnancy or in their postpartum, which is forever. My priority is to hold you, however you need to be held; be it through information, connection, practical help or a little of everything.

I serve women within an hour of Greensborough in person or offer online support options for those further away. I look forward to connecting with you and hearing your story. xx
